The problem

Logging out to log in
is a tiny tax you pay all day.

The usual way 0 s
  1. Sign out
  2. Type email
  3. Find password
  4. Wait for the verification code
  5. Redirect, reload, repeat
With CookieSwapper 0 s
  1. Click the account. Done.

How it works

Four moves.
That's the whole manual.

01

Save the account you're using

Open CookieSwapper, give it a name if you like (for example “Work”) and press Save snapshot. Your login on that website is now saved.

  • Any website
  • Your own names
  • One click
02

Switch with one click

Press the arrow next to any saved account. The page reloads and you're in that account straight away. The account you're using is always highlighted.

  • Reloads by itself
  • Current account highlighted
  • Checks that it worked
03

Save and sign out in one go

Choose Save and exit: your account is saved and you're signed out, ready to sign in with another one. Come back to the saved account whenever you want.

  • Save only / Save and exit
  • Sign out with one click
04

Open any link with another account

New in 1.1.28: right-click a link and choose CookieSwapper Open link as. It opens in a new tab, already signed in with the account you pick. Handy for seeing a page the way a client or colleague sees it.

  • Right-click menu
  • New tab
  • Only on the right website

Everything inside

Small popup.
Surprisingly deep.

Organize like you mean it

Drag your accounts into the order you like, rename them from the menu and delete the ones you don't need.

Yours, down to the theme

Light or dark, in English, Español or 中文. Make a backup of your saved accounts and bring it to another computer.

It tells you if it worked

After every switch, CookieSwapper looks at the page and tells you honestly whether you're signed in.

Tap a state to see what it means.

Nothing breaks if something fails

If a switch goes wrong halfway, CookieSwapper puts your previous account back. You're never left half signed in.

Always shows where you are

The account you're using right now is highlighted, so you never post, reply or buy from the wrong one.

Works on almost any website

  • Email, social media and online shops
  • Work tools and client dashboards
  • Test accounts for developers and testers
  • AI chats like ChatGPT
  • Any site where you sign in with an account

Still there tomorrow

Privacy

Your sessions never
leave your browser.

Only on your computer. Your saved accounts stay in your browser. No sign-up, nothing uploaded.

No tracking. We don't collect statistics or watch what you do.

Private windows stay private. CookieSwapper doesn't run in incognito, so the two never mix.

Backups come with a warning. A backup can open your accounts, so we remind you to keep it as safe as a password.

    Questions,
    answered.

    Is it really free?

Yes. No account, no subscription, no premium tier.

Does switching affect my other tabs?

Yes. Every tab of that website switches to the account you choose, because the browser shares your login between tabs. To open a single page with a different account, right-click the link and use “Open link as”.

Which sites does it work on?

Most websites where you sign in with an account: email, social media, online shops, work tools and more. A few websites keep part of your login somewhere CookieSwapper can't save, and any website can end a saved login from its side, for example when you change your password.

    Where is my data stored?

Only on your computer, inside your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to send us a report about a website that isn't working.

Can I move my saved accounts to another computer?

Go to Settings Export to download a backup file, then use Import on the other computer. The file can open your accounts, so keep it as safe as a password.

Why doesn't it run in incognito?

On purpose: keeping private windows separate means your saved accounts never mix with your private browsing.
